What happens during my 1st appointment as a new patient at Cedar Ridge Dental?
From the time you step into our office at Cedar Ridge Dental in Lake In the Hills, you will experience the personal and professional courtesy that we strive for. We value your time. We promise to make every effort to ensure that your visit is pleasant and all your dental needs are addressed promptly.

Prior to your initial visit, you may request that a registration packet be mailed to you so you will not need to spend extra time during your initial visit filling out forms OR you can visit our New Patient Forms page and download your new patient forms.

At Cedar Ridge Dental, our first priority is getting to know you; this means taking the time to listen to your concerns, focusing our attention on your dental concerns, and formulating an individualized plan of action. The dentists at Cedar Ridge Dental make a personal and professional commitment to you and your dental care needs. This commitment is highlighted by offering appointments geared to your schedule.

dental emergeny treated at Cedar Ridge Dental in Lake in the HillsComprehensive dental evaluation consists of obtaining a detailed history of your current dental health as well as reviewing your past medical and surgical history, current medications, and family/social history. Assessment of your risk for developing cavities, gingivitis and other dental health related issues is a vital part of the initial evaluation. Prior medical records are also studied in detail to provide appropriate continuity of care.

A complete dental exam including any necessary digital dental x-rays is then performed, focusing on dental health and prevention. A clinical plan is developed including recommendations for further diagnostic testing and treatment. Drs. Giovanni & Sandra will discuss the details of your dental care during subsequent visits as well.

Can I reach a dentist if I have a dental emergency after hours?

Yes.  If you have a dental emergency after hours, please call our office at (847) 854-0525 for instructions.

Our normal office hours are:
Mondays 10-6
Tuesdays Select Tuesdays 9-2
Wednesdays 9-5
Thursdays 10-6
Fridays Select Fridays 10-2
Some Saturdays 8-2

The office is closed most  Fridays and Sundays.

Will you take me as a patient even though I do not have dental insurance?

Lake In The Hills dental patientYes. We welcome all new patients. We are “in network” with most PPO dental insurance plans.  We also have a variety of affordable payment options available to our patients including a 0% interest plan with CareCredit for those who qualify.

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards for payment.
