Teeth Whitening
Tooth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure that will brighten and whiten your tooth color by several shades. We use Laser 1-Hour whitening system in our practice. This simple light activated whitening system can change your appearance and brighten your smile in just one appointment.   Having your teeth whitened under the supervision of the staff at Cedar Ridge Dental is the safest method of whitening.  The dentists will assess your dental health to make sure you are a candidate for whitening.

Veneers
Dental veneers are used in cosmetic dentistry to correct the color, shape and length of teeth. Veneers are a “contact thin” material that covers the front surface of teeth to enhance their profile. Dental veneers are so thin that the doctors only have to remove a small amount of tooth surface. Veneers will improve your appearance and your smile.

Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is a man-made composite white colored filling material designed for cosmetic dentistry. Drs. Giovanni and Sandra will sculpt and shape the dental bonding material to the cosmetic and functional results you desire.

Porcelain Crowns

Lake In The Hills Porcelain Crown

Porcelain crowns and bridges are a wonderful option in cosmetic dentistry because they can be color matched to your natural tooth color or whitened to brighten your teeth and smile. Porcelain crowns are used to cover single teeth that are broken or decayed, to straighten crooked teeth, close spaces between teeth and fill spaces left by missing teeth. Porcelain crowns are not removable and can last for 5 – 10 years. Many crowns and bridges last much long with good oral hygiene.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are the perfect answer to tooth loss today. Dr. Sandra can place an artificial root that receives a cosmetic crown to restore function and restore your smile. Patients with ill-fitting dentures and partials can use implants to stabilize their bite.

Tooth Colored White Fillings
Decayed and chipped teeth can be restored to their natural beauty with tooth color composite resin material. The advantages of tooth colored white fillings include better esthetics, less sensitivity, less removal of natural tooth structure, better retention and they are BPA & mercury free!

Tooth Straightening

Crooked teeth can actually damage your dental and overall health. Dr. Giovanni offers Invisalign (Clear Braces) and 6 months smiles!  Call for a No Cost Consultation.

1. Causes gum disease – Developing periodontal, or gum, disease is a common ramification of crooked teeth. Gum disease develops when bacteria in our mouth forms into plaque. The problem accentuates when your gums don’t fit securely around your teeth, leaving more room for bacteria to grow.

2. Creates difficulty cleaning teeth – Toothbrush bristles and floss have a difficult time reaching the nooks and crannies between crooked teeth, which can lead to bacteria growth -> Decay!

3. Creates tooth wear – Crowded bottom teeth often cause one or more teeth to protrude, which can rub against your upper teeth. Over time, this can lead to undue wear of tooth enamel.

4. Increases risk of tooth injuries – Protruding upper teeth are more likely to chip or crack in the event of an accident.

5. Creates chewing difficulties – Protruding upper and lower teeth may rub together in a way that prevents normal jaw alignment, making it difficult to chew.

6. Causes bad breath – As bad as crooked teeth look, they can smell even worse. Unless you’ve just eaten an onion, bad breath is generally caused by lingering mouth bacteria, which can be difficult to eradicate from in between crooked teeth.

7. Damages self-esteem and happiness – Several studies have indicated that a better looking smile increases the amount you smile, which can lower stress and improve cognitive ability. Having crooked teeth may reduce your confidence in your smile, thus reducing how much you show your pearly whites.
